PLAINS TWP. – Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut will cut 355 jobs, but the cuts will not spread to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, Chief Operating Officer Jeff Hartmann said Wednesday.

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs will continue to employ more than 1,600 people, including the 600 jobs recently created as a result of the addition of 82 table games, Mr. Hartmann said.

“There will be no reduction. We believe the staffing levels are appropriate,” he said.
